He becomes the friend of Matt McGinley at the high school, which already had him a group but without singer. Travis becomes then the singer of the group. They then established the group «gym class heroes» because the founders, Travie McCoy Matt McGinley, met in a lesson of gym. He sings alone and too with his band.Their latest album, the papercut chronicles 2, was released in 2011. He made a single with Adam Levine and his band Gym Class Heroes : Stereo Hearts; and a duet with Bruno Mars : Billionaire.
