Accrocs

"Accrocs", a collection of short stories written by Gilles Abier, is one of my favourite books.

Each short story relates a crucial event lived by a teenager and tackles a difficult theme like homophobia, ragging, prostitution, conjugal violence...

The author uses teenagers 's crude language and adresses the reader as "tu". Moreover, he has a sense of plot and of punch line.

I advise you to read this little book, because every secondary school student can recognize himself or recognize a classmate: the whipping boy, the male chauvinist, the virgin, or the model... although Gilles Abier lacks realism sometimes.
