MUSE

Today we can be sure that the name “Muse” will stay in the the head of all the people for a long time. For the ones who don’t know it Muse is an english rock band who realised this year  its sixth album: the Resistance. Muse comprises three members: Matthew Bellamy (the singer),Christopher Wolstenholme (bass) and Dominic Howard (drum).  The success of the group is so huge that some people compare them to other rock’s legends as Queen particularly.

The history of the group began twenty years ago, in 1990. The three musicians met in a school of Teignmouth in the Devon (United Kingdom). They decided to form a little band. A few years later the group took part in a musical contest with the name “Rocket Baby dolls” and they won. They changed their name to Muse and came out their first album in 1997: Newton abbot Demo. They left university, quitted their job and moved away from Teignmouth to perform  all over  the country. With the album “Showbiz” the band got quickly a very big success. Between 2001 and 2008 the concerts became more and more important and the tours of the band became more and more successful with their albums Origin of symetry, Absolution and Black holes and revelation.  They have sold ten milion albums and with the Q Award they have obtained the title of the best group of the world.

Muse will perform this year in France in the  “Festival des vieilles charues”.
