The Changeling by Clint Eastwood

I had the opportunity to see this film during the holidays and i really appreciated.

The Changeling is an American drama film directed by Clint Eastwood and written by Joseph Michael Straczynski, released in 2008. Inspired by real events that took place in 1928 in Los Angeles, it tells the story of a mother, played by Angelina Jolie, whose son is kidnapped and who is facing corruption of the authorities of the city. The Exchange also addresses the powerlessness of women and child abuse.

The Changeling is planned for the first time during the 61st Cannes Film Festival, May 20, 2008, where he enjoyed some critical acclaim. Following this initial screening, a limited release is organized in the United States October 24, 2008. The film was finally released October 31, 2008 in that country and in France on November 12. The reaction of critics was more mixed than Cannes. Finally, the film achieves a recipe World of 113 million dollars and ranks 80th in the American box office in 2008. For Eastwood, the film occupied in 2010, the 9th place among the performances of his achievements at the box office. The Exchange can be found named in numerous awards at festivals and awards ceremonies, but he does not win a major award.

It's a sad movie but based on true events, Angelina Jolie plays perfectly in this film and you can feel all the emotions the characters emerges. I really love this film and everyone can focus very quickly to the sensitivity and the determination of Christine Collins played by Angelina Jolie to find her son.
